Nearly a third of hospitalized heart failure patients do not receive potentially lifesaving drugs and face an increased risk of death, according to Denver Health cardiologist Frederick A. Masoudi, M.D., MSPH, FACC. Masoudi, lead author of the article, explains these findings in Monday’s online issue of Circulation: Journal of the American Heart Association.
